Mark Sheedy’s incredible save to win the Munster U20 hurling championship title for Clare on Wednesday night has gone global.

Sheedy was the hero for the Banner County in their penalty shootout victory over Tipperary at the TUS Gaelic Grounds, where he saved three penalties and scored one in the 4-3 win for his team.

Since then, the Clare No 1’s remarkable winning save in the shootout has gone viral, even making it to Wednesday’s number one moment on SportsCentre’s Daily Top 10 on ESPN.
