Inniskeen made it three wins from three in the Group 2 of the Monaghan SFC when accounting for Magheracloone by 1-13 to 0-9 yesterday.
County star Ciaran McNulty scored an early 1-2 from midfield to help last year’s beaten finalists to a 1-8 to 0-4 half-time lead. Shane O’Connor, Oisín Monaghan and substitute Shane Woods also hit the target to secure a comfortable victory for the Grattans.
In the same group, Ballybay registered a crucial 0-19 to 0-14 win over Aughnamullen with erstwhile goalkeeper Julius Sniauksta notching up 0-4 and Colm Lennon and Shane McGuinness also starring.
On Saturday, a dominant first half display was key to Corduff’s 2-16 to 2-10 win over 14-man Cremartin, while champions Scotstown saw off local rivals Truagh by 0-19 to 0-17 to get back to winning ways.
