Brian Guerin was the talk of TEG Cusack Park last Saturday after scoring a staggering 5-1 in Brownstown's Westmeath IHC final victory over Southern Gaels.
The Cork native had the local GAA anoraks reaching for the record books after his five-star display helped the once-mighty Brownstown regain Senior 'B' status for 2025. The Meath-border club defeated their Athlone-based opponents by 6-17 to 3-8, with all of Guerin's scores coming from play.
Guerin is a talented dual player who also plays football for Mullingar Shamrocks. His home club is Kilshannig who drew the Cork Premier IFC final with Aghabullogue last Sunday.
