David Brady says Mayo need to make winning a Connacht SFC title this year a priority.

Mayo haven’t lifted the Nestor Cup since 2021, with Galway winning a three-in-a-row in the meantime. The old rivals are on course to meet in another provincial final with semi-finals to come on the weekend after next against Leitrim and Roscommon respectively.

“A lot of Mayo people are only talking about one thing this year,” the former Mayo midfielder said on ‘Off The Ball’.

“I love rivalry, but by Jesus, we can’t go another four years in-a-row handing a cup to Galway. It’s on the line - a Connacht Championship.

“A Connacht Championship is a must from a Mayo perspective.”
