The funeral details of the young daughter of former Westmeath hurler Enda Loughlin who died following a tragic accident at home on Friday have been announced.
Three-year-old Annabel Loughlin will be laid to rest in Taghmon Cemetery near Mullingar on Tuesday following Funeral Mass in The Church of the Assumption, Delvin. The tragedy has shocked the entire GAA community and has resulted in the postponement of today's Leinster club SHC quarter-final between Enda's club Clonkill and Ballyboden St Enda's.
Westmeath GAA said in a statement yesterday that it “stands in solidarity with the Loughlin family following the tragic death of Annabel. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this very difficult time and we offer our deepest condolences to Enda, Eileen, Senan and TJ, and the entire Loughlin family, who are steeped in both Clonkill Hurling and Westmeath GAA."
Funeral arrangements are as follows:
Reposing in her family home from 3-8pm Monday 5th November. Funeral Mass Tuesday morning in The Church of The Assumption, Delvin, arriving for 12.00 o’clock proceeding thereafter to Taghmon Cemetery, Westmeath. All enquiries please to Massey Bros 01-4533333.
