Today's Allianz Football League Division 3 final at Croke Park saw a rare occurrence of an outfield player standing in as goalkeeper.
Offaly centre-forward Peter Cunningham was forced to go in goals during injury-time of their 0-21 to 1-6 defeat to Derry after regular netminder Paddy Dunican was sent off on a black card following a foul which resulted in a penalty.
The fact that the Faithful County used all seven substitutes, they were unable to replace Dunican but Cunningham stood in and saved Shane McGuigan's penalty to ensure they kept a clean sheet despite their first defeat of the campaign.
