The Mayo senior football championship semi-finals will take place on Saturday, October 11th after all matches in the county were postponed this weekend as a result of Storm Amy.

Mayo county board made the decision on Friday to call off all its games for the weekend for health and safety reasons and those fixtures are now set to go ahead next weekend.

The SFC semi-final clash between defending champions Ballina Stephenites and Knockmore will take place in Crossmolina at 1.30pm on Saturday.

Later that afternoon, the other semi-final in the Paddy Moclair Cup race between Crossmolina and Westport throws in at 4pm in Charlestown.

Meanwhile, Sunday, October 12th sees the relegation final between Ballyhaunis and Mayo Gaels down for decision in Ballindine (12pm).
