Armagh and Tyrone served up an Ulster senior football championship thriller in Clones which saw the All-Ireland champions edging victory at the death to move into a third consecutive provincial decider.
It finished 0-23 to 0-22 at St Tiernach’s Park, Conor Turbitt came off the bench to win a late free which Rory Grugan sent over with the last kick to cement the one-point win for Kieran McGeeney’s side.
The Orchard men had been full value for their 0-11 to 0-8 lead at half-time and a brace of Oisin Conaty points after the change of ends saw them upping it to five.

Conn Kilpatrick’s two-pointer got things rolling for Tyrone four minutes into the second-half and, while they’d fall behind by six after it, the scores of Darren McCurry, Darragh Canavan (2) and U20 star Eoin McElholm would bring them back within three entering the closing quarter.
A Canavan point would be backed up by another effort from substitute Peter Harte from beyond the arc to tie things up at 0-19 to 0-19 in the 59th minute.
Canavan would shoot the Red Hands into a two-point lead ahead of Turbitt and McElholm exchanging points and Armagh then coming with a late push which saw Jarly Og Burns and Stefan Campbell sailing over scores to level come the 70-minute mark.
There’d be time for one last attack and it saw the All-Ireland champions feed Turbitt inside for the substitute to earn a free which Grugan tapped over to claim a dramatic victory for his side who now face either Donegal or Down for the Anglo-Celt Cup on May 11th.
