Cork showcased their ruthless streak in the first-half of today's Allianz Hurling League Division 1A final against Tipperary before going on to record a 3-24 to 0-23 victory at a packed Pairc Ui Chaoimh.
Alan Connolly, Darragh Fitzgibbon and Ethan Twomey supplied the goals that saw the fired-up Rebels blowing away their Premier counterparts in the second quarter to take in a 3-16 to 0-12 lead at half-time.

Darragh McCarthy (free) and Sean Kenneally pucked over the first two points of the restart, but they’d be erased by the scores of Shane Barrett and Patrick Horgan (free) at the other end as Pat Ryan’s men kept their opponents at arm’s length for the rest of the decider.
One of 10 different scorers for the Leesiders in this decider, Horgan contributed seven points for his side while Fitzgibbon equalled that tally with 1-4.
On a memorable occasion at Pairc Ui Chaoimh, where 43,143 fans were in attendance, the 10-point win marks a first National Hurling League Division 1 title for the Rebel County since 1998.
