Three-time All-Ireland SFC winner Ryan McMenamin has been appointed manager of Tyrone club Aghyaran St Davog’s .
McMenamin's father hails from the Donegal-border club which is currently operating at intermediate level. His appointment comes after he spent two years in charge of Fermanagh before serving as a coach / selector with Cavan.
Affectionately known as 'Ricey', the Dromore clubman and legendary corner back was part of a golden era in Tyrone during the 2000s, triumphing to the Sam Maguire Cup in 2003, 2005 and 2008. He also won five Ulster SFC crowns, two Allianz Leagues and an All-Star in 2005.
