Tipperary boss Liam Cahill is set to be without attacker Sean Kenneally for their Munster senior hurling championship first round clash against Cork in two weeks’ time.
The Moneygall forward has sustained a knee injury which looks likely to rule him for Tipp's hosting of the Rebels’ in Thurles on April 19th.
Kenneally came off the bench to hit two points in the Premier men’s draw against Kilkenny in the final round of the league, but isn’t set to be available for selection on Sunday fortnight.
There is more positive news for the All-Ireland champions over Willie Connors, who has been recovering well from an injury he picked up.
The Kiladangan clubman’s positive progress means that he’s expected to be available for last year’s All-Ireland SHC final repeat against the Leesiders.
