Tony Kelly has been named All-Ireland SHC final Man of the Match.
Kelly scored 1-4, including a sensational second half goal, from play as he skippered Clare to their fifth All-Ireland at Cork's expense. The 2013 Hurler of the Year was presented with his award by GAA president Jarlath Burns at the Clare banquet at the Intercontinental Hotel in Dublin last night.
"It's just brilliant for Tony. It's brilliant for him. The biggest day and we needed a guy to produce it. He produces it all the time in training, we all see what he's like," Clare manager Brian Lohan said in a glowing tribute to his captain.
