Cavan appoint joint-captains as Galligan reveals first League selection

New Cavan manager Raymond Galligan has taken the unusual step of appointing joint-captains.

Veteran Kingscourt defender Padraig Faulkner and Ciaran Brady, who starred in Arva’s recent All-Ireland Club JFC success, will share the captaincy when the Breffni County open their Allianz Football League Division 2 campaign against Kildare in Netwatch Cullen Park tomorrow evening.

Ironically, they succeed Galligan in the role.
