Tyrone and Dublin will meet in the All-Ireland Masters (Over 40s) football final for the second year-in-a-row.
In last weekend’s semi-finals, Dr Mick Loftus Cup holders Tyrone cruised to a 1-16 to 0-6 victory over first-time semi-finalists Clare, while Dublin recovered from a slow start to edge out Kerry by 0-12 to 0-10 in Golden/Kilfeacle, Co. Tipperary. Five-time All-Ireland SFC winner Denis Bastick featured at full forward for the Dubs, for whom Tommy Brennan top-scored with 0-3.
The Shield final will be contested by Galway and Donegal following their respective semi-final wins over Roscommon and Kildare.
In the Plate semi-finals, Mayo squeezed past Louth on a 2-6 to 1-8 scoreline, while Cavan beat newcomers Waterford 2-18 to 1-14.
Leitrim/Longford are the first team through to the Challenge Cup final after defeating Antrim by 2-7 to 1-12. Cork and London face off in the second semi-final this Saturday at a venue to be confirmed (throw-in 2pm).
