Aidan O’Shea will make his 200th appearance in league and championship for Mayo against Leitrim in their Connacht SFC semi-final at Carrick-on-Shannon today.

In doing so, the towering Breaffy clubman becomes the first outfield player to reach the milestone at inter-county level. He already holds the record for the most championship appearances for an outfield player (92), which is still a long way behind Stephen Cluxton's 126 for Dublin.

The 34-year-old is playing in his 17th championship campaign, having made his debut against Derry in the 2009 Allianz Football League. His Connacht SFC debut came against New York in Gaelic Park later that same year.

O'Shea is named at top of the right in an unchanged team from that which edged past Sligo in the quarter-final a fortnight ago.

Mayo (SF v Leitrim): Colm Reape; Jack Coyne, Donnacha McHugh, Enda Hession; Sam Callinan, David McBrien, Stephen Coen; Jack Carney, Matthew Ruane; Davitt Neary, Darren McHale, Fenton Kelly; Aidan O'Shea, Dylan Thornton, Ryan O'Donoghue.

Subs: Adrian Phillips, Conor Reid, Diarmuid O'Connor, Eoghan McLaughlin, Eoin O'Donoghue, Fergal Boland, Frank Irwin, Jordan Flynn, Niall Coggins, Paul Towey, Shairoze Akram.
