Blow for Derrygonnelly as Jones brothers join Leitrim Gaels

Brothers Ryan, Garvan and Conall Jones will line out for Leitrim Gaels this year after transferring from Derrygonnelly Harps.
Derrygonnelly granted the transfers after the trio withdrew their services before last year’s Fermanagh SFC, opting instead to train with their new club. Between them, they won 22 championship medals with the Harps who will have a difficult job replacing them.
Fermanagh star Garvan Jones was listed as a Leitrim Gaels player in the programme for last weekend’s Allianz Football League Division 3 opener against Kildare in Newbridge.
