Two photos taken 26 years apart and featuring father-and-son Niall and Damien Cahalane and Larry Tompkins with the Munster Club SFC Cup have gone viral following Castlehaven's victory over Dingle.

Sitting on Larry Tompkins' knee with the silverware in 1997, Damien Cahalane drew on all his past underage soccer goalkeeping experience with Greenwood where current Irish international John Egan was a team-mate to help 'Haven to a penalty shootout win amid a deluge at the TUS Gaelic Grounds.

Sharing the two photos on X, the former Cork dual star joked: "A lot more belly, a lot less hair."
