Páirc Shilean in Templemore will host a very attractive senior hurling challenge between All-Ireland champions Clare and Tipperary early in the New Year.

The game between the local rivals will take place under lights on Saturday, January 4 at 6pm, with all proceeds going to the Mary’s Meals charity which provides life-changing school meals to children living in some of the world's poorest communities.

With no pre-season competitions taking place in 2025, it will be an opportunity for both teams to prepare for the Allianz League which gets underway on the last weekend of January.

The entry fee is €10 by cash or card.
