Henry Shefflin is to reprise his role as Ballyhale Shamrocks manager in 2025.
The Kilkenny hurling legend is returning to his home club after spending three years at the Galway helm. He stepped down in July and was replaced a few weeks later by Micheál Donoghue. Shefflin's Ballyhale selectors will be Eoin Reid and Mark Aylward.
'King Henry' previously managed Shamrocks to back-to-back All-Ireland club SHC titles in 2019 and '20. He also won three All-Ireland club medals as a player as well as a record 10 All-Irelands with Kilkenny.
Ballyhale suffered a surprise Kilkenny SHC quarter-final exit this year at the hands of neighbours Thomastown who went on to win the county title.
