Jim McGuinness believes that any one of the teams left in the All-Ireland SFC race are capable of beating each other.

In one of the most open championships in years, Donegal became the eighth and final team to reach the quarter-finals thanks to a comfortable victory over Leinster champions Louth in Ballybofey yesterday.

“We're delighted to be there, we wanted to be there. We spoke about these three weeks, we're in week three now and we have achieved that,” the Donegal manager said on GAA+.

“Without turning things too much on its head, you have to enjoy these moments and enjoy these days. We want to be in that quarter-final and we have achieved that now.

“Everybody was speaking about how competitive Division 1 was, and it was incredibly competitive. The fact that anybody could beat anybody on a given day, that has proven to be the case.

“Down and the way they have progressed through the championship, Monaghan and the way they have progressed, Meath and the way they have progressed, it means that they are playing like Division 1 teams, that's for sure.

“It's very, very competitive and we know that. At the same time, from our point of view we just wanted to be in that draw. We are where we wanted to be,” he added.
