Errigal Ciaran to commence Tyrone SFC title defence against Ardboe

Errigal Ciaran will begin their Tyrone senior football championship title defence against Ardboe following yesterday evening’s opening round draw for the competition.
Last October saw Errigal triumphing to their second county senior championship title in three years after edging out Trillick by a point in the final, and from there they’d go on to capture Ulster honours before losing out to Cuala in January’s All-Ireland club SFC final.
The first round draw for the Tyrone SFC also sees Trillick up against 2020 winners Dungannon, with Dromore playing Edendork and Killyclogher facing Loughmacrory.
