Aisling Moloney hopes to continue playing both ladies football with Tipperary and Aussie Rules for the Geelong Cats.
This is despite plans by the AFL to bring the AFLW season forward which would see it overlapping with the All-Ireland ladies football championship.
“I’ve grown up in Ireland playing 12 months of the year so this is no different to me. It’s just your moving country for this one with six months in Ireland and six months over here,” the All-Star nominated Tipp star told the Geelong Cats media team.
“I’m really excited, I’ve loved my last two years here with Geelong and I’m excited to go further and I can’t wait now.
“We don’t know what the end of the season lies ahead for us, we just put ourselves in the best position and if it’s a case where we are in the finals then that’s absolutely brilliant but if not then knuckle down and have a few things going home with me that I can improve on going in to next year.”
