No decision yet from Podge

Podge Collins has yet to decide on whether he will play hurling or football, or combine both codes for Clare next year.

The dual star concentrated solely on football this year and recently indicated that he would be playing only one code again in 2017. But speaking to RTE at last night's 2017 championship draws, he refused to rule out juggling football and hurling again.

"I said that in an interview on Clare FM and it was almost a slip of the tongue," he said.

"This year was very difficult because some of the weekends clashed and I haven't played as well as I would like in either so I was thinking to myself, 'maybe I should just concentrate on one and give it a right go'.

"But I haven't made a decision on that; Cratloe are still going, we have a county football final replay on Sunday week, and that's my priority at the moment. That's my only focus and outside of that I'm not thinking of anything else. There has been no decisions made yet."
