The 2026 Armagh senior football championship commences this weekend with eight first round ties on the schedule.

This evening (Friday) sees 2024 champions Clann Eireann travelling to take on Carrickcruppen while Maghery will host Armagh Harps. Both games throw in at 7.15pm.

On Saturday, Granemore welcome Culloville Blues (3.30pm) before Killeavy take on Clan na Gael at Davitt Park (5.30pm) and then it’s the meeting of Silverbridge Harps and St Patrick in Silverbridge at 7pm.

Defending champions Madden Rapparees, who captured the Gerry Fagan Cup for the first time last October, are in action on Sunday as they travel to Dromintee (6.30pm) for the first round of their title defence.

That same afternoon will see kingpins Crossmaglen Rangers get their bid for a 48th senior championship crown underway when they visit Tullysaran (2pm), with High Moss Sarsfields hosting Mullaghbawn at 4.15pm.
