Former All Star, All-Ireland winner and double O’Neill cup winner in Tyrone Justin McMahon has been appointed the new senior manager of home town club Omagh St Enda’s. A former coach with Andy Mc Entee’s Antrim McMahon takes the role alongside Dean O’Neill who guided the clubs reserves to a 2025 league and championship double.

The duo bring lots of experience to the Omagh club who last won the Tyrone title in 2017, Mc Mahon was the St Enda’s club first all star winner in 2008 as he collected the Sam Maguire with Brother Joe. Previously he had captained Tyrone’s Under 21s to an Ulster title in 2005.

O’Neill has had a long association with the club as a player from youth level and while living and  playing in London he also played for London in their famous Connaught final appearance in 2013. Dean was at the helm of the reserve side at Omagh for the past two years.

A new backroom team is to be confirmed but Club Chairman Conor Sally welcomed the move: “I am delighted with the appointments, we had a very skilled sub group looking at the position of manager after Owen Devine stepped down and the selection has been heavily endorsed by them. They felt and our committee all agree they have the vision, experience and commitment necessary to lead Omagh to success”
