Two-time Cork All-Ireland SHC winning centre back Ronan Curran has taken up a coaching role with Ballincollig.
Curran, who was a Cork U20 selector for the past two years, will work alongside new manager Eamon Keating and selectors Frank Daly and Dave Collins. ‘Collig are hoping that the former St Finbarr’s and Cork star will give them something extra after they were pipped at the post by Kilworth and Carrigaline in Premier IHC semi-finals last year and this year.
The 2004 and ’05 Liam MacCarthy Cup winner previously had two spells as St Finbarr’s manager and also as Kanturk coach.
