UCD will face UL and Maynooth University will take on Ulster University in the Sigerson Cup semi-finals next Thursday, February 8.
The pairings were confirmed following last evening's quarter-finals. UCD came from 0-4 to 1-3 down at half-time to overwhelm University of Galway 1-14 to 1-6 with Luke Breathnach's goal helping to turn the tide.
Paul Keaney scored 0-5 as UL edged out DCU Dóchas Éireann 0-14 to 1-10 to qualify for their third successive semi-final. Senan Baker's goal brought the Dublin students level early in the second half, but they couldn't get their noses in front.
Maynooth University also prevailed by the minimum, 0-10 to 0-9, against Queen's University thanks to Eoghan Frayne's injury-time free.
In the other quarter-final, Darragh Canavan inspired Ulster University to a 0-16 to 1-10 victory over TU Dublin.
The winners led by 0-6 to 0-5 at half-time before stretching their advantage to 0-11 to 0-5 by the 43rd minute. Cian Hanley netted in injury-time for TU Dublin, but it was a case of too little, too late.
