Westmeath's Robbie McCarthy landed his ninth All-Ireland 60x30 Senior Singles title by beating Meath's Gary McConnell 21-10, 21-3 in yesterday's finals at St Coman’s, Roscommon.
The Mullingar maestro was appearing in his twelfth successive All-Ireland 60x30 Senior Singles final after overcoming Kilkenny's Ciaran Neary 21-10, 21-6, while McConnell had defeated Gavin Buggy of Wexford 21-20, 21-4 to qualify for his first at this level.
Limerick's Martina McMahon, who defeated McCarthy's sister Aoife in the semi-final, claimed a record-equalling fifth All-Ireland 60x30 Senior Singles ladies crown, beating Cork's Catriona Casey 21-13, 21-18.
