Longford manager Padraig Davis is looking for a reaction from his players following last weekend’s defeat to Down.
That was the Midlanders' first defeat in the campaign, but Davis wasn't too despondent about the result, and feels that a win against Laois this Saturday can get them back on track.
“Is it a setback? Not really,” Davis told the Longford Leader. “We go and pick it up on the road against Laois next Saturday. That’s what it’s all about.
“I just said to the players we are looking for a reaction now and I think they will give us that. The whole dressingroom acknowledges that the performance against Down wasn’t good enough.”
Longford travel to O’Moore Park for tomorrow night’s clash and a win could see them move back into a promotion place for 24hrs at the very least.
