Gaelic 4 Mothers & Others:
The popular Gaelic 4 Mothers & Others returns to Athlone GAA on Monday 3rd March 7-8pm. Gaelic 4 Mothers & Others is a fun, non competitive form of ladies football for women that want to get fit, have fun, make new friends as part of a team and learn the basics of Gaelic football. It is suitable for all women of all ages and suits all fitness levels. Over 50 women registered for the last session of G4M&O in Athlone GAA, and was thoroughly enjoyed by all involved. U14& U16 Girls:
Training has commenced for the U16 and U14 Girls on Sunday morning in Pairc Chiarain. U14, U16 and Junior Ladies training will also be held every Tuesday night in Pairc Chiarain at 7pm. New players, all abilities very welcome. Come along to training or contact Seamus at 086 8266270.
Registration 2014:
Registration takes place on Friday, 14th March from 6.30pm-9.30pm in the Clubhouse. There will be a draw for everyone who registers and pays their membership on or before the 14th. Boys and girls, all ages and all abilities very welcome. Just come along on the night or contact Teresa, Registrar at 087 6799472.

Takes place in the Clubhouse every Thursday at 8.30pm. Loads of cash prizes. Everyone Welcome.
ACFL Division 5:
The Athlone Junior Team had their first outing of the year in the ACFL Division 5,travelling to Kinnegad on Friday last.Athlone won on a scoreline of 1-7 to 0-8 against Coralstown-Kinnegad.Many thanks to the Athlone mentors Nigel Johnson,Tom Stuart-Trainor,James Kilroy and Johnny Flynn for looking after the team.
Athlone came out of the blocks quickly and led by 1-5 to 0-3 at half time.Kinnegad played very well in the second half but Athlone held out for a deserved 2pt win.
