Underage Presentation
The Under 14 and Under 16 county champions were presented with their medals last Friday week in the Kingdom of Sport complex, Mullingar. Afterwards the boys enjoyed the various skills tests on offer, pitting themselves against each other and the 'Top Scores' recorded by previous challengers.

First Lady Secretary/New PRO
There have been a couple of amendments to the executive since our recent AGM. Mary Clarke has taken on the role of Secretary and to my mind, she will be the first female committee member in the clubs history. Though we all know that the fairer sex have played a key role behind the scenes over the years, it is great to see a representative 'out front' and hopefully this can begin a trend in our club. We also have a new PRO in Dean McDermott, and we would ask everyone to pitch in and inform Dean of relevant goings on in the club and community. It is also a welcome development to see some youth on the committee (apart from Mary of course), and Dean joins Niall O'Brien who currently serves as our youth officer.

The updated 2014 Executive is as follows: Presidents: Michael Kirby, Christy Dalton, Christy Hickey, Seán Kirby. Chairman: Eamonn Clarke, Assistant Chairman: Ger Dalton (Incoming), Secretary: Mary Clarke (Incoming), Assistant Secretary: Pat Garvin, Treasurer: Shane Heraty (Incoming), PRO: Dean McDermott (Incoming), Youth Officer: Niall O'Brien, Irish Language Officer: Sean Keegan, County Board Delegates: Eamonn Clarke and Pat O'Brien. Membership Agent: Eamonn Óg Clarke.

Dinner/Dance
We are holding a Dinner/Dance on Saturday 1st March in The Bloomfield House Hotel, to celebrate the successes of 2013. Presentations will be made for the Senior and Under 21 Championships and the Feis Cup. Tickets will be €35 and music will be by 'Good Man Sheila'. Contact Pat Clarke on 087 6692583 or 044 92 26113.

Team Management
The Senior, Intermediate and Under 21 teams will be managed in 2014 by Pat O'Brien - Manager, Brendan Hogg and Pat Clavin - Selectors.

Lotto
Last weeks lotto draw was held in The Drake Inn and the numbers drawn were 8, 13, 21 and 23. There was no jackpot winner but Niall and Olive Clarke matched three numbers. The promoters prize was won by Ger Dalton. Next weeks jackpot will be €3,100 and the draw will be held in The Country Inn, Dysart.
