An elbow injury is threatening Seadna Morey's participation in Clare's Munster SHC quarter-final against Waterford on Sunday week.

The 2012 All-Ireland U21 winner missed training on Tuesday evening after sustaining the injury during a squad training weekend in Lahinch three weeks ago. However, this didn't stop him from lining out for Sixmilebridge in their 1-11 to 3-17 defeat to Clarecastle in the opening round of the Clare SHC last Saturday.

As things stand, Aaron Cunningham and Jamie Shanahan (both are recovering from shoulder injuries) are the only players unavailable to manager Davy Fitzgerald.

"Aaron Cunningham and Jamie Shanahan are definitely out of the Waterford game," selector Mike Deegan confirmed to the Clare Champion.
