Carlow entertained London at 3pm with the Barrowsiders looking for a first Leinster SHC win since winning the Christy Ring Cup three years ago.

Later on at 7pm Antrim traveled to Portlaoise to take on Laois in what was expected to be be a tightly contested championship game.

Throw in the Ring, Rackard and Meagher Cups and it was a busy day of hurling action.
