Rogan in it to win it
May 11, 2012

Derry hurling manager Ger Rogan
Derry boss Ger Rogan is intent on winning the 2012 Ulster SHC.
Having already beaten Kildare, Rogan's Oak Leafers face Wicklow in the second round of the Christy Ring Cup at Arklow tomorrow. However, they are in the unusual position of playing in two championships, with a June 17th Ulster semi-final against Armagh also awaiting them.
Rogan says in The Irish News that they hope to go all the way up north: "Antrim are the benchmark for everyone, but if you don't believe you can win it there's very little point in going through the motions.
"Certainly, I've seen a very real improvement in our lads this year and you'd be going in believing you can win the game ahead of you.
"If you then get yourself into the Ulster final, there's no reason you can't win it."
