Brick back in Kerry fold
November 25, 2011

Kerry's Shane Brick
Kerry hurlers have received a boost ahead of the new campaign as Shane Brick returns to the squad.
Brick has been one of the county's top forwards for over a decade, but he has been hampered by long term injuries over the past two years.
The 30-year-old hopes to have put his injury nightmare behind him and he admitted to Kerry's Eye that he was looking forward to the 2012 campaign.
"Hopefully I can remain free from injury in 2012. I was disappointed to miss out on this year's Christy Ring Cup win but I am really looking forward to the year ahead with Kerry," said Brick.
"These are exciting times for Kerry hurling and at this stage of my career I am looking forward to being just involved once more."
However, it is not all good news for Kerry manager John Meyler as Ballyduff clubman Gary O'Brien has opted to take a year out as he goes travelling in Australia.
