Conroy starts for Tribesmen

Galway's Paul Conroy
Galway boss Joe Kernan has named Paul Conroy at centre-field for this Sunday's crunch NFL game against All-Ireland champions Kerry.
Speculation had mounted as to whether Kernan would start his young star for the Pearse Stadium clash, as he will be needed next Wednesday night when the county Under 21s take in Sligo in the semi-finals of Connacht championship. But the Crossmaglen native looks to have had no hesitation in his decision.
Elsewhere in the team, Finian Hanley and Damien Burke both start in defence for the Tribesmen as they look to curtail the likes of Colm Cooper and Kieran Donaghy, while up front Michael Meehan and Nicky Joyce will look to lead the charge in the full-forward line.
Galway (NFL v Kerry): E O Conghaile; D O'Neill, F Hanley, D Burke; G O'Donnell, D Blake, D Reilly; B Cullinane, P Conroy; G Sice, J Bergin, N Coleman; M Meehan, N Joyce, M Clancy.
