Newtown Blues minors celebrate
Newtown Blues completed a fantastic double double when the beat Naomh Mairtin by 10 points after extra time in the 2015 Louth Minor championship final replay on Sunday.
The Blues have now won back to back minor championship and leagues.
This was a titanic battle between two very promising sides and over the course of the two games there was nothing to choose between them. It was however the Blues ability to get goals that made the difference at the end.
With match winners on both sides a special mention must go to Ross Nally who scored 3.3 for the winners and Sam Mulroy who scored 10 points for the losers two great talents that are minor again next year.
With a large attendance at both matches and a great atmosphere to go with it both clubs can look forward to great days ahead with such talented youngsters coming along.
