I'm baffled that O'Neills kit are the monopoly of the GAA County/Clubs teams across the country. footie16 (Mayo) - Posts: 222 - 08/12/2015 19:33:50 1812150 Link 0 |
I see a lot of teams wearing tracksuits from other brands like Adidas, Stanno etc. Am not sure the price difference in products is that big and my own team prefer the o'neills look and feel for jerseys anyway. O'Neills quality is brilliant highway (Monaghan) - Posts: 90 - 09/12/2015 08:55:12 1812198 Link 0 |
As much as O Neill's etc.. are expensive, both clubs and Co Boards get a return from them. Tim_Burr (Down) - Posts: 460 - 09/12/2015 09:29:09 1812206 Link 0 |
From my experiance of Azzurri with Donegal and some club gear, it is nowhere near the standard of O'Neills, and that's being diplomatic. mhaith_fear (Donegal) - Posts: 75 - 09/12/2015 10:05:55 1812213 Link 0 |
the rest are not a patch on O neills , that is why no one really has them HurlerOnTheFenc (Mayo) - Posts: 282 - 09/12/2015 10:24:54 1812219 Link 0 |
The new Offaly jersey from O'Neills is terrible. CmonAymonow (Laois) - Posts: 160 - 09/12/2015 10:36:48 1812226 Link 0 |
O'neills are the best by far...There was a time when there looked to be a change with Laois,Waterford,Sligo and Donegal all going Azzurri BigJohn.6_8 (Galway) - Posts: 704 - 09/12/2015 10:45:08 1812231 Link 0 |
Yep I'd also agree that the quality of the azzuri gear can be suspect. O'Neills is top notch stuff in fairness Bon (Kildare) - Posts: 2258 - 09/12/2015 12:51:38 1812272 Link 0 |
Oneills for playing kit without a shadow of a doubt for quality. in terms of tracksuits etc Adidas seem to have some really nice stuff and thegaastore supply a lot of the top clubs with adidas/ puma/ nike training leisurewear, their stuff seems good and decent price. the_watcher (Antrim) - Posts: 128 - 09/12/2015 13:47:13 1812302 Link 0 |
Ten years ago Louth switched to Azzurri. At that time Waterford, Laois and Donegal all had Azzurri. I much prefer O'Neills myself. OLLIE (Louth) - Posts: 12224 - 09/12/2015 14:53:44 1812333 Link 0 |
I agreed O'Neills are class. footie16 (Mayo) - Posts: 222 - 09/12/2015 15:24:41 1812342 Link 0 |
Masita make great gear but don t have a licence for intercounty gear. They can only do clubs and schools. An intercounty licence means big buck to the lads in Croke Park. Roger (Meath) - Posts: 480 - 11/12/2015 11:24:16 1812620 Link 0 |
I like Masita they now they make good quality gear they probably 2nd best behind O'Neills. footie16 (Mayo) - Posts: 222 - 11/12/2015 17:39:27 1812700 Link 0 |
Have had an O'Neills Antrim rain jacket for about 7/8 years now. Worn it in all weathers and quality still pretty good. Ulsterman (Antrim) - Posts: 9816 - 15/12/2015 20:56:27 1813079 Link 0 |
ridiculous that the likes of Adidas, Nike etc are not allowed to supply GAA gear valley84 (Westmeath) - Posts: 1903 - 16/12/2015 08:03:53 1813088 Link 0 |
