Hastings cup final Roscommon 2-21 Galway 1-11. Cannot believe that score. Are Roscommon seriously that good or were galway that poor. Based on that Roscommon must go into the connacht championship as favourites. Dublin (our nemesis) will obviously be strong but any other good U21 teams this year? Anyone fancy a shock?

Ross are good but I don't think anything can be read into the Hastings Cup just like we won't read anything into the FBD success last weekend... Mayo were also missing a host of players last week and Galway weren't at full strength today.. Connacht yet again will be hardest province to come out of at u21 in 2015.. to answer your other question about other counties other than Dublin with decent prospects in u21 this year, Kerry have a few very tasty forwards and I'd back them to come outta munster.. Ulster I don't know anything about.. Ross/Mayo, Dublin & Kerry would be my bet for the other 3..

Rosfan i remember last year coming out of castlebar after beating Mayo people were talking about a Ros/Gal final but Galway got beaten by Leitrim and Roscommon were very lucky to come out of Sligo with a win so favourites count for little.

Tyrone ulster champions at minor level this age and are strong. I'd say Cavan will be strong again in ulster anyway. After that armagh and Derry be pick of the rest.

Roscommon were missing the 3 county seniors.
Was at the game wouldn't read much into it
March will tell it's a strong Ros panel.
But connaught is strong
And I'm sure kerry, Dublin, donegal and Tyrone, cork etc will be strong as well
