I thought the ref yesderday in the Wicklow vs Meath game was very poor! He gave Wicklow a penalty when it was a free out an should have sent off the Wicklow number 10 or 12 for an elbow in the face of a Meath man throw in the free count and it was poor from the man in the middle.

Eve when you don't look at his obvious individual errors, the way he refereed the game throughout was poor and it slowed the pace of the game. He was consistently giving soft frees to both sides throughout and it made the game hard to watch at times. Every couple of minutes he was blowing up for unnecessary frees. Whistle happy!
