Best team made up of non-All Star winners

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

So can anybody name the greatest team of non-all star winners from the All Star era (1971 - today). So in plain language name a team of 15 players who never won an all star but perhaps deserve one. If we have trouble making a team, maybe posters could name a few from their own county and see what we come up with.

You can put Tommy Carew from Kildare in any forward position. Pat Dunney and Pat Mangan midfield or forward. Emmet Bolton.

....and just to get ahead of the posse will you throw in 'Biggy' as well ..midfield or forward

I just had a look and Jayo never won an all start! Wow I am a bit shocked, I had always assumed he would have won one or two

Think Declan Browne has a couple. Frommy own county how John McEntee never got one baffles me was one of the top centre forwards of the last ten or so years.

James Reilly was the Cavan Goalie. Our best chances were Seamus O Hanlon at 8, Colin Kelly forward, Stefan White forward, Aaron Hoey anywhere. Because WEE never got near a Leinster win 'till 2010 none of these stood a chance of a nomination. Paddy Keenan is Louths only Allstar in 2010. Maybe Shane Lennon or Brian White could get a nomination this year if they continue their good form in the Qualifiers.
