(Oldest Posts First)

Just wondering is there anywhere to watch the Tyrone game live online today?

Anyone know how I can access any of the action abroad? I'm in China, and while listening to the games on RTE Radio 1 and Newstalk is great, it'd be even better to see the action. I know RTE shows some games online, but only if you happen to be in Ireland (don't get me started on that......). Can anyone help out here?!

Ballboy im not sure of the technical details but a friend of mine is able to watch them online from the UK. I think he downloads some program that makes it seem as if the ip address is Irish and then he can access it no problem. the finer details of this are beyond me though

Hi Ballboy.
There are a few ways that you can do this. You can try www.myp2p.eu. The signal is usually okay that is if they have it on. I live in Spain and I pay a subscription of about €10/month for a proxy. The website is http://www.ukproxyserver.co.uk/. Their service is excellent basically you will be watching the game as if you were online in Ireland. It will take you a while to set it up and read through everything but it's well worth it. You may have other problems with regard to government control in China which I can't help you with. With this you can watch live programmes on all the UK/Irish channels and other countries along with their player services.
Another alternative is to try for a foxy proxy which is free. Some of my friends here in Spain have used it but I don't rate it - too awkward and inconsistent. Here's a copy and paste from a mail I have:
If you use Firefox as your internet browser, then download foxy proxy for free. Just put it in google and you will see plenty of sites offering free download.

This programme will let you enter and use the foreign proxy addresss, be it english or Irish, if you want to watch RTE or BBC live.

To then get your free proxy address, google proxy list. The second option in the list sumair.ru is the one you want. Go to 'sort by country' then hit 'country' then Ireland and you should have 2-3 proxy options.

Open foxy proxy, go to 'add proxy' put in the irish proxy address and your away for slates! I watched the sunday game - all matches - this way last weekend with perfect reception.

Good luck

I'm in the US waiting for the Mayo match on TV3 via www.streampro.tv. Got it for a year for $50. Hooking the laptop to TV via HDMI and Bob's your uncle. Had live feed from RTE today of the Limerick match too and I've seen plenty of championship and league matches too from TG4. Also has Sky Sports, some Setanta , ESPN and Eurosport channels and a few UK terrestial channels. The stream isn't always perfect but for that price you can't go wrong. I checked it when I went home for the Connaught Final two weeks ago and was surprised it worked cos I thought Sky would have it blocked. Check it out but remember streaming depends on how good your broadband is.

Lads, best way is to use:

www.myp2p.eu

click 'live sports' and then 'others'

There you get free streams and they are usually pretty good.

Is the live stream different to TV3's coverage?

If it is, I will switch over.

Is this TV3's last game this year? Let's hope so.
