MEATH coming in under the radar!!!!!!

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

I'm expressing my opinions on Meath and how I feel the match will go. Just because I feel Kildare will win and Meath are in general a poorer team than Kildare means I'm being arrogant does it? I must have a different meaning of arrogant so.

I must say that your arrogance is breathtaking BREATHTAKING!

We must all acknowledge the greatness of Meath and ignore the bogus goal and join in with their ridiculing of Louth for feeling agrieved and feel sorry for them for being(boo Hoo) backed into a corner, otherwise, I'm afraid you are ARROGANT!

Meath to win, several people need a good kick up the rear over the comments directed at us over the past few weeks, I feel a point will be proven on Sunday. Oh and by the way if you think Meath have overachieved over the past few years then by Jesus where does that leave Kildare. Meath beat Kildare in 2007 championship and league thi syear as well a draw in the league last year so your mighty lillies are doing a fairly crap job of proving they are better than Meath. As for the chirpy comments from the Cavan jury, oh well I never kick a dog when he is down.

I'm at a loss to figure out why I'm being called arrogant. Again I state I'm expressing an opinion on the game and if that sounds arrogant then so be it but it wasn't meant to come across like that.

Meath have been poor in a lot of their games this year. The second half against Louth was shocking, the first game against laois wasn't much better. The result against Dublin didn't really reflect how the game went. In fact I'd go as far as to say that Dublin had more possession (maybe I'm wrong). Is that being arrogant?

Yes, Kildare were brutal against Louth and were worse than that in the start of a few of their latter games. But imo looked quite impressive (opposition were questionable) when they had settled into the game. They have momentum behind them and have a head of steam built up. Whilst traditionally the make-up of Meath is never to let anything affect you I believe the Leinster final debacle (don't mention the war) is bound to have some say in the game.

Frankly I know myself I'm in no way an arrogant person, perhaps even a little meek maybe, so I know my post was written as arrogance but my feelings and how confident I would be on Sunday. Simple as.

i know it must be very difficult to support a team such as cavan where half the best players couldnt be bothered playing for the county so its understanable you would support the best team in your province!!!! but im far from anti tyrone and posts i make i back up with my opinion and reason all you do is throw in a few smug 1 liners hiding behind your tyrone brothers

Firstly please refer to my previous question, your behaviour is a bit odd! bobo

Yes it is difficult to support my county but i like all my countymen and women do our best, you are being kind when you say half, thanks very much. I doubt very much if the Tyroonees would consider me as a brother and support is a very subjective term, but if you mean by support, challenging posters such as yourself who has an irrational bias, then in your bizarre world, I'm a dyed in the wool Tyrone supporter. You may not have noticed but there is a site for each county where we can do our own navel gazing. On this national site we're invited to comment on national topics. Peerhaps you could get me the posting rules in terms if the length of our replies and if onelines are disallowed i will refrain from doing so again. Chill out man, by the way logic and argument can be implied and dosent have to be spelled out in meticulous detail in every post but your Opinion and reason as you put is is hard to fathom, it's hard to call dissing Mickey Harte and making sweeping statements, that many people have matched his (uniqie) record as reasonable. bobo you need to eat your own dogfood when it comes to "reason and opinion" and state how these people have matched and bettered Harte. Oops am I now exclusively a Tyrone supporter. You should be happy to have a county that has a good chance of winning instead of spewing your bile in the direction of me and my "brothers" in tyrone.

Sedico,

Believe me we're not afraid of Meath for the simple reason is that they ain't good enough.

While Kildare are still a step below the top tier you can be guaranteed we're a step above Meath. Meath have overachieved over the past few years and are not a good team. Granted their forwards are a decent unit, their midfield and backs are woeful. I'd be extremely surprised of Kildare don't win by 6+.

Ya hafta remember the type of characters your dealing with here.
They don't do balanced debates on games.
They view it one way, were are totally crap & they are unbeatable.

Let them at it tho, somebody has to believe it, it might aswell be them......

onchlair you can waffle on for 1000 words to get your point across if you like i dont belive mickey is on a par as the aforementioned managers .as for your point regarding your undying support for tyrone i think regular posters are in no doubt of that fact . you more than most seem to throw digs and snips when there is no need and ill tell you another thing i have done workshops in lavey ramour and baileborough and i can tell the wider gaa public you are not representitve of the majority of the good cavan geals

BoBo you critise my oneliners you call my expansive writings waffle, I can't win with a stalker like you. I know this isn't a spelling test but you could at least spell the names of the clubs that you are using to make your confusing argument.

I don't represent Cavan Gaels that is 100% correct nor do I claim to, I'm not even representatives of the gaels from other clubs, but since you did weird workshops you are now in a position to speak for Cavan now, well done.
You are a man of many talents, anger management isn't one of them nor is making sense but that's a good atribute to have when representing the views of my county.

keep it up you are quite amusing you angry little Divil!

Sashman you should know by now that you're now allowed to predict a Kildare win. The Meath fans get a bit touchy when you do that.
