I haven't heard of supplements being taken by players I know, but I do know that a lot of club players now take their own diet seriously & what they eat & when they eat it can really help build up muscle.

sausage roll and a lucozade...followed by a stitch 10 minutes in and an interior monologue trying to decide whether it was the sausage roll or the lucozade....never the rake of pints the night before......

Supplements such as biotin, silica and iron can help grow healthy hair, prevent thinning hair and may even reverse greying. It may be a bit late for some of the old codgers on here though.....
