Lads, if it's that bad, why are you watching it? I can imagine how bad it is, but I can honestly say that I have not seen one second of it. If there is nothing else on Turn the bloody tv off, if the other half/family members watch it, do something else either that or fess up to actually liking it and get on with your lives :)

if this was a thread set up by fans of the show who wished to discuss it, then I would certainly leave them to it and stay away. As it is, its people giving out yards about it but have obviously watched a couple of episodes. THere's a contradiction and anyway I was only being light-hearted, hence the smiley, so lighten up!

Chill breffni!! Yea i have watched bits and pieces of it over the series - its so cringeworthy that in a weird way u have to watch it for some reason. Also - sunday evening isnt the greatest for tv so u end up channel hopping constantly.

The young girl that won it is a nice enough singer, there were a few other half decent singers who were voted off early in the competition for some strange reason, but overall the standard was pathetic and totally embarrassing, and this regional voting is silly, the north vote for the north, the west votes for the west, etc, instead of voting for the best act, and some of the Jugdes seem to be tone deaf, ie S Lynch.

i just started watching when football icon finished.... sunday night tv really is bad!
i agree the standard is pure muck.
but, instead of the weeks upon weeks of cr@p acts to get through to the final , if they did it like the x factor it might not be as bad , as only top 10 or so get onto live tv.
