Lads just a thought. Should a ref be allowed to ref a game if the county that he comes from is playing the winners of that game he is refing in. ie. Dublin v Meath and the winners play Wexford should the ref be allowed from Wexford I've seen this happening a few times over the years. Or a ref be allowed ref a game that either of the 2 teams playing had beaten his county just before that game being played? delboydub (Dublin) - Posts: 665 - 14/03/2010 11:08:01 587476 Link 0 |

yes even in club football i think refs should be picked from another county i live in wicklow and i go to plenty of games and there is always a mess with refs like if you have a st pats ref in a rathnew game thats hardly fair since them 2 teams almost hate each other so take it out of it altogether and bring refs from outside county and stops all that messing around delboydub (Dublin) - Posts: 665 - 15/03/2010 21:25:54 589220 Link 0 |

No,i agree fully with delboy he is right....the county in which the ref comes from should of had no contact with neither of the 2 clubs playin in the match...i Have seen it happenin myself and it isnt fair wen you are on the wrong side of it premier2010 (Tipperary) - Posts: 12 - 15/03/2010 21:41:53 589257 Link 0 |

Is this thread a joke?Have some respect for Referees and dont be worryin your head where they come from.No ref goes out to "do" any team regardless of who the winners face. fredrickwood (Roscommon) - Posts: 2871 - 15/03/2010 21:42:14 589260 Link 0 |

The solution is obvious. All refs should come from Carlow and Louth. festinog (Galway) - Posts: 3154 - 16/03/2010 20:08:57 590087 Link 0 |
