In spite of the inclement weather conditions in Donard on Sunday morning all the stars of the recent 'Minor Championship win were in action. Only difference was this time they were in opposition to each other in the Johnny Stone League. The old Parish rivalry between Donard and Dunlavin was evident from the start. Dunlavin withy more young players in action eventually got more scores on the board and went home with full points.

The January golf outing was in Gowran Park and another new name on the rostrum. Gerry Daly was the overall winner with Peter Lawless runner up. Noel Keogh was third. Tom Flynn won the longest drive and Joe Mills got nearest the pin.

The winning numbers in the lotto for Monday 23rd Jan were 16, 18, 21 and 28. There was no winner and there were two who match three numbers, Mr and Mrs Murphy Waterford and Kila & Luka Harney. The jackpot stands at €6,400 at the moment. Tweet
