Omagh St Enda's 0-12 Kilcoo 0-11 (aet) Omagh claimed this year's Ulster club minor football championship title on Sunday when they edged out Down champions Kilcoo at the St Paul's club in Belfast after extra-time. In a tense decider, scores were hard to come by in the opening stages as both sides were deadlocked on 0-1 each after the opening quarter. A par of Ronan O'Neill points livened up matters and sent Omagh in at the break with a two-point lead. In the second-half, the game came to life as Kilcoo raced out of the traps and fired over three points without reply through Jerome Johnson before Omagh substitute Cormac O'Neill squared the sides once more. Omagh pulled back in front when Ronan O'Neill and Barry Tierney raised white flags, but some accurate frees from Darragh O'Hanlon forced the game into extra-time. Conan Grugan grabbed the two opening scores before O'Hanlon cancelled out with a pair of frees and in the second-half he brought his tally to 0-7, but Omagh had more in the tank and last ditch efforts from Conor Clarke and Damien McGloin made sure that their team would be the fourth Tyrone side to claim the Jimmy McConville Cup.
