There is a saying that bad luck comes in threes and Na Fianna GAA club can certainly relate to that this week.
The cruciate ligament injury curse has struck three of the club's talented players - former Meath senior footballer Jamie Queeney, 2016 Junior C winning captain Rob Walsh and Ladies footballer Sarah Jane Farley.
Walsh and Farley underwent surgery yesterday (Tuesday) while Queeney, who is Meath GAA's Games Development Manager, is due to go under the knife tomorrow Friday.
We join the club in wishing all three players a speedy recovery.
