Kildalkey have pulled off a major coup by appointing Johnny Greville as their new senior hurling manager.
The Raharney man takes over from Daire Lahart, who stepped down following Kildalkey's Meath SHC semi-final defeat to eventual winners Kiltale earlier this year. Regarded as one of the best young managers in the game, Greville has managed his native club to three Westmeath SHC titles since 2010, the latest coming in October when Raharney staged a remarkable second half comeback to beat arch-rivals Clonkill.
The former Westmeath senior selector led the Lake County's minors to a famous Leinster championship victory over Wexford last year and was also in charge of the county's junior camogie team this year.
